ADHD, mood regulation and social anxiety. This time around I’m doing something completely different and talking about something more personal to me. I’m talking about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, more commonly known as ADHD. This video is a light-hearted attempt to talk about a pretty deep problem that many of us ADHD folk deal with when it comes to our ADHD. This is based loosely on a true story and my own personal experiences. If you’re wondering why this video is a lot less structured and a lot more ‘all over the place’, well this is a much more natural thought process for myself and I want the viewer to experience this video the way I experience things. This isn’t to say that everyone is the same. We all experience our neurodiversity in many different ways. I’m hoping today that sharing this little story will help a few folk out with their journeys, and help those who are not neurodiverse help understand their friends and family who are just a little better. The Nintendo 64 restoration is not going to plan. The RGB Mod is not working and the cartridge slot probably needs replacing in the console. I’ve been sitting on this video for some time now as I ran out of the energy and patience to continue. Well, I’ve finally gotten the energy for it and here it is. This project has not gone to plan so far. Rather than leaving you high and dry I’d rather admit defeat (for the moment) and show you what I’ve done so far, and where the project is at. Time to start a retro repair on a Nintendo 64 game console! A few months ago, I was able to locate my childhood Nintendo 64 game console hidden away in a sea container. Surprisingly, it turned out there wasn’t really anything wrong with it other than a lot of dust and dirt. Board and power supply are all clean and ready to go. In Part 1, I’ll be dismantling the Nintendo 64 and giving it all a big clean. I’ll check out what’s wrong (if anything) in preparation to order all the parts required to get this old Nintendo 64 back up and running. Not sure what I want to do with it just yet so I’m taking suggestions on what modifications I should make and which way I should go. Watch the video then drop a comment if you’ve got any ideas on how I should mod this console. The Adafruit Cheekmate Chess Cheating Anal Device! Sorry, I mean a “Wireless Haptic Communication System”. If you’re not familiar with the back story behind this device, a Chess Grandmaster, Eric Hansen jokingly suggested that fellow Grandmaster Hans Niemann had used remote controlled vibrating anal beads to signal the correct moves during a chess tournament. New York City based Adafruit Industries decided to do a deep investigation in to how practical it would be to build a wireless haptic communication system using off the shelf electronics components that can receive a signal that can penetrate deep enough to provide feedback during a chess tournament. So they built the Cheekmate! In this video I’m putting together the Cheekmate and show you how it is done. I’m gonna put a little twist on things and see if we can turn it in to a more practical package. Namely, a buttplug. Lets take a less than safe for work look at the Cheekmate! Doom 2 Map! Showing something different today, a map for Doom 2 that I’ve been working on for several months to play in GZDoom. Project Nightmare is something I’d like to eventually turn in to a small map pack that follows another UAC marine as things turn bad once again for everyone’s favourite morally bankrupt corporation. The textures and current music are all from Back to Saturn X Episode 1, with that WAD being required to play this map.
